iOS6 users can now find their way better with the return of a better Google Maps.
After Apple’s attempt, and embarrassing failure, to replace Google Maps with their own default map, Google Maps is finally back on the iTunes Store. Released today, the new app features turn by turn navigation, public transit directions, Street View and more. At least one good thing has resulted from Google Maps getting booted from iOS6. As Gizmodo pointed out, users can now enjoy a better Google Maps application with all the added features.
iOS6 users can now download the app through the iTunes Store. However, some users have reported trouble in downloading the app. Personally, a search on my iPhone 5′s App Store did not reveal the application. I had to use the shared link to download via iTunes on the desktop before syncing over to my iPhone.
