Last week, we asked you a simple question- which calculator do you use? It was an attempt to understand how much new technology has killed old ways of doing things. The results are out and there aren’t many surprises. The real calculator is dead. Well, almost dead at least for people who use computers.
The poll shows that 48% respondents use the calculator on their desktops and 43% use calculators on mobile phone or a tablet. Pen and paper is being used by only 7%, a real calculator is being used by 16% and 10% use a browser plugin. Looks like the real calculator will soon meet the fate of the typewriter.
