Vietnam’s startup scene is heating up with Savvi and The Start Network bringing in more valuable knowledge with Startup Vietnam Conference 2012.
Working together to grow the Vietnamese startups ecosystem, Savvi and The Start Network will be holding a startup conference in Ho Chi Minh City on 19 December, 2012. The conference will feature speakers like Clint Nelson of Startup Weekend and Startup Labs, Bryan Pelz of VNG, Harj Taggar of Y Combinator and Pawoot Pongvitayapanu of Tarad.com.
The topics that will be presented and discussed on at Startup Vietnam Conference 2012 ranges from global overviews of entrepreneurship to drill downs of new venture lessons in Thailand, Vietnam and Silicon Valley. Attendees will get to hear from successful, high-impact entrepreneurs on their founding stories and how they lead their respective companies to what it is today.

Get a chance to hear from Bryan Pelz of VNG, formerly Vinagames, on how he co-founded the company that has the top social network and web portal in Vietnam together with Le Hong Minh who spoke at the recent BTIC event. Also get to hear from visiting Thai entrepreneur, Pawoot Pongvitayapanu, on how he built Tarad.com, one of Thailand’s largest e-commerce platform, which became part of Rakuten Group. Pawoot recently spoke at e27′s Echelon Ignite Thailand and shared valuable insights into the development of the Thai ecosystem.
