As the only media event dedicated to the Southeast Asia media industry, the Festival of Media Asia 2013 has returned to Singapore for a second time.
Since its launch in 2011 which saw some 600 attendees from 23 different countries around the world congregate, the Festival of Media Asia 2013 offers a slew of new features for attendees to enjoy including a stronger awards program, the launch of its global Media Accelerator Programme (not to be confused with startup accelerators like JFDI.Asia), alongside an outstanding line-up of speakers from local markets within Asia.
Festival of Media Asia 2013′s lineup of speakers include: Matt Blackborn, President at Starcom MediaVest Group, Steve Blakeman, CEO at OMP Asia Pacific, JoeL Cere, Global director, Insights & Innovation at eYeka, Matthew Driver, Division President, Southeast Asia, MasterCard Worldwide and more.
In particular, the Media Accelerator Programme (M.A.P) is an initiative aimed at young startups that want to disrupt media industry. M.A.P. entrants will get to pitch in the presence of experienced marketers in some of the biggest brands and agencies. They will also have the opportunity to network with these professionals and other notable companies in the field of media and marketing. 40 percent of past M.A.P. entrants have found business through The Festival of Media.
The deadline for M.A.P. applications have been extended to February 15th, 2013. The entry fee is USD 999.
